Hi, I’m Katy Willis…

…Wellbeing facilitator

…Practising GP

Life has its ups and downs. I’ve had both. My enthusiasm for personal development comes from my own learning from life, as well as learning from walking with others as a doctor and as a friend.

I’ve been coaching since 2013, and have over 20 years’ experience as a GP in inner city London. I have been a GP partner, run quality improvement programmes, and have extensive experience facilitating and teaching adult groups from 4-50 people. I listen sensitively and have advanced communication skills. I am calm, enthusiastic, and have excellent organisational skills.

My coaching practice is shaped by positive psychology and wellbeing, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

I have a track record in helping people find their ‘lightbulb’ moment in coaching.

We work together to explore your goals and ways to get there.

You are the focus in your coaching session. Your mind is the goldmine of your life, of your workplace. 100% of my attention is on you during your coaching.

We look at who you live and work with, (and who they live and work with), and the push and pull of those relationships.

I tailor my coaching to the unique human you are, so each session is different – according you who you are, where you are, and where you’d like to get to.

I check in with you about the level of challenge you are comfortable with for maximum growth and learning. Support without challenge = stagnation.

Our brains have a negative focus (survival tactic). We can train our brains for positivity; I offer tools to help you do that. My coaching is positive and developmental, shaped by positive psychology and wellbeing.

My coaching is creative, varied, gives you tools to increase your wellbeing. The ridiculous often helps us see our own reality in perspective.

I give you space to notice, and to think at your best. I ask questions and listen rather than tell or advise, to help you develop your own thoughts and solutions.

I create a safe, confidential space for you to explore new ideas and overcome any obstacles.

You learn to coach yourself, and make me redundant.
